Artfully blending the old and the new, Entourage offers modern American cuisine that celebrates America’s rich tapestry of cultures by taking the best of classic American dishes — think specialty cuts of meat, fresh seafood, and more — and elevating them with innovative pairings and bold, global influences.

Entourage’s symbiotic approach to cuisine is reflected in its interior aesthetics. Decorated with a deep moody pallet that’s balanced by a curved, window-lined wall, offering a profusion of light as well as views of downtown Downers Grove, Entourage blends contemporary design with inviting comfortable elements for a cozy yet casually sophisticated dining experience. The restaurant features a large bar as well as outdoor seating.

Diners can start their meal with a diverse selection of artfully decorated photo-worthy small plates, with offerings that include the Sweet Chili Calamari and the popular Spicy Shrimp & Jalapeno Grits, made with blackened wild shrimp, Andouille sausage, charred jalapeno and corn, baby peppers and creole cream.

Soups and salads are also available with options ranging from the highly recommended Maine Lobster Bisque to the Roasted Beets and Whipped Goat Cheese Salad, served on a bed of arugula and baby gem and topped with spicy pecans, fennel, hot honey and a citrus vinaigrette. A selection of proteins including chicken, salmon, crab cakes, shrimp, steak and blackened ahi tuna can be added to any salad.

The entrées pack flavor into every bite with a selection of signature dishes that includes the popular pan-roasted Chicken Giardiniera — chicken breast with artichokes, in white wine, with hot giardiniera, a herb chicken glacé, and charred tomatoes, served with campanelle pasta and topped with parmesan cream. The inventive Wagyu Meatloaf Sundae — a towering concoction of Wagyu beef layered with truffle and parmesan whipped potatoes, brioche bread, wild mushroom gravy, vegetable succotash and topped with crispy onions — is also quite good. Additionally, the Spicy Chicken and Tortellacci offers the perfect blend of piquant spices making it a wonderfully hearty dish for the fall and winter.

Entourage also offers several seafood options like the Pistachio Crusted Whitefish as well as a variety of both wet and dry-aged Linz Heritage Angus Steaks, including the recommended Dry-Aged Delmonico Ribeye. Sides are also available including tasty options like the lemon truffle butter Grilled Asparagus.

You’ll want to consider saving room for one of the homemade desserts like the Banana Cream Pie and the decadent Flourless Chocolate Cake. Other taste-tempting options include the Chocolate Heath Bar Crunch Cake and housemade premium ice creams and sorbets.

In addition to a variety of house cocktails, Entourage’s bar offers 27 wines by the glass and a selection of allocated spirits.

The Downers Grove restaurant is the second Entourage location with the original opening in Naperville in 2023. Entourage is run by the same team as VAI’s Italian Inspired Kitchen + Bar, also in Naperville.
